Früute, A mini tart movement

A new pastry shop has opened his doors last Saturday. Früute is a collaboration between two sisters and their mother. Früute unites French technique with modern sensibility. This shop is not like an ordinary pastry shop, because besides the ordinary classic menu, there also is a more adventurous menu named ‘curious’. An example from that menu is the Black Pepper, infused chocolate with forest berry center and frangipane, topped with blueberries and a candied pepper crisp; and the Wasabi, spicy Japanese horseradish with blood orange in a pistachio crust and garnished with mint leaf tempura. Not the most common tastes you would choose for a pastry. In total they have 16 different tarts that are daily handmade. Früute self calls it a mini tart movement.
